Genericized Trademarks Quiz

Kerosine, yo-yo, zipper, and cellotape all have one thing in common: they are generic words that come from brand names.
A number of brand names have become generic, meaning that they stand for the product regardless of who makes it. Just like and iPod has come to mean mp3 player, many other common nouns were originally brand names, some of whose origins have even been forgotten. Let's see if you know them!

Why ist the answer Aspirin wrong? The Hoover is writing with a capital letter too. The result isn't correct and dismotivated.
